Our Building

2000MKT is a 665,000-square-foot Class A office building in Center City Philadelphia. Built in 1972 and renovated in 2012 and again in 2021, the 29-story modernist building features high ceilings, expansive views, and a flexible, efficient floorplan suitable for a wide range of companies. The building is centrally located on Market Street between 30th Street Station and City Hall, near all major subway and train lines.

Our Lobby

We have recently completed our lobby renovation at 2000MKT. Redesigned by Greek architects Soulis & Berlic, the bright double-height space is centered around an illuminated wall of Nestos marble panels. The plan includes sleek elevator banks and a serene modern seating area, with a custom chandelier of suspended glass spheres floating above sofas and tropical vegetation.

Our Neighborhood

The Market West corridor is Philadelphia’s economic hub. It is home to major international and domestic companies, including PWC, BNY Mellon, and the headquarters of Comcast, Aramark, and Independence Blue Cross. Mega-developments Schuylkill Yards and uCity Square are in the works to the west.

Our Location

Located in the Market West corridor of Philadelphia’s central business district, 2000MKT is conveniently located near Amtrak’s 30th Street Station, Suburban Station, the PATCO line, and SEPTA subway lines. The western end of Market Street has seen considerable development in recent years. The completed development of the Comcast Technology Center, with the city’s tallest skyscrapers, has drawn new retail and residential options to the area. Just 10 blocks to the west, construction of Schuylkill Yards’ seven million square foot mixed-use development has begun creating an integral link between University City and the Market West corridor.

2000MKT is just a few blocks from the desirable neighborhood of Rittenhouse Square, Walnut Street shops, many great restaurants, and over a dozen hotels. The property is surrounded by parking options and bike-share docks.

Our Tenants

2000MKT’s flexible floorplates provide versatile office layouts for a wide range of businesses, from creative startups to established law firms. Current tenants work in fields such as technology, law, finance, scientific research, government, insurance, and marketing.
